His single Heat (from the same-named singles album) topped the Oricon charts on the day it debuted back in July. It didn't stop there, as now Heat has sold 200,580+ albums since release.

Music Monday: Kim Hyun-Joong Breaks More Records
So his acting may be questionable (leave my KHJ alone!), but you can't deny that the boy can sing.

Kim Hyun-Joong Makes an Impact
This is a totally lifted story, but I can't not post about my love Kim Hyun-Joong when I come across any news/blurbs/pictures/anything about him!
It's that amazing mega-watt smile that's so amazing that it's amazing in all its amazingness. His current cut, color, and perm help a bit too. But it's so the amazing smile that's amazing. And how awesome he looks in a suit. And that amazing smile of his that's so amazing. And... wait, what were we talking about again?

Kim Hyun-Joong's New Drama
Kim Hyun-Joong is returning to television!!!! KIM HYUN-JOONG IS RETURNING TO TELEVISION!
Did you hear me? I'm not sure I said that loud enough. I'm convinced it's because I posted about him the other day. He heard me talking about him and he had to make a comeback to make K-noona happy! I was super surprised as other rumors of him returning to dramas in the past have never been true and he's previously stated that he wants to focus on his music career over acting.

Kim Hyun-Joong Fan Service
This may be a small blip on the kpop radar, but anything is a welcome excuse to talk about my husband-to-be-he-just-doesn't-know-it-yet Kim Hyun-Joong.
And for what it's worth, this is the haircut I like the best on him; color and/or perm doesn't matter, hehe.

Drama Collectables
Even with its spastastic plot lines and bipolar character personalities, Boys Before Flowers is still one of my all time favorite dramas (and one of my firsts).
So of course I was super excited to find the moon/star necklace at a decent price online, and I just had to get it!

Back from Spring Break!
Although my spring break didn't consist of beaches and martinis, it was a welcome, albeit busy, break.
It was also busy in the kdrama world, as several dramas ended and began at the end of March/beginning of April. I watched the series finales of Operation Proposal, Dream High 2, and the Shut Up Flower Boy Band Behind the Scenes Special.
Then I jumped head first into the next batch: The King 2 Hearts, Rooftop Prince, Man of Equator, Fashion King, Standby, and Love Rain. If only I knew how to swim...!
Not to be outdone by what's current, I re-watched Goong, Playful Kiss, and Playful Kiss Youtube version; finished up Unstoppable High Kick; and started Return of Iljimae.
Now, several of these shows are misses, and I haven't kept up with them. At the same time, several of these shows are hits but are not recapable by me due to language barriers. But some mid-series updates are definitely in order!
I'm excited to get back into the swing of things!
