Kim Soo-Hyun for ZioZia

When it comes to Kim Soo-Hyun photoshoots, I never know which to post because there's just. so. many.

I literally sat for a half an hour deciding between three fairly recent ad campaigns featuring KSH before picking on this one. Why'd I settle on this one?

My Lack of Recaps Lately

I admittedly started this blog to have someone (used loosely here since the Internet isn't exactly a person, but you know) to talk to about kdramas since no such person exists in my social circles.

I intended to do this primarily through recapping airing dramas with some random kdrama news thrown in. But I haven't touched a recap since March-ish, and it has become more of kdrama/kpop/kentertainment news with little recaps at all. Why? Well it isn't because I don't want to recap. I would love to recap my favorite airing dramas.

Kim Soo-Hyun's Endorsements

As I said in a previous post, it's hard to do much of anything around Korea without seeing Kim Soo-Hyun's face (not that I'm complaining).

And it's not just my imagination (or minor KSH obsession/homing device) because he's set a record for endorsement deals in Korea. And this isn't just endorsements for actors, but all people who get endorsed in Korea ever--higher than any athlete, kpop star, etc.

Photoshoot: Kim Soo-Hyun

You can't watch Korean television without seeing a commercial or twenty featuring Kim Soo-Hyun, sometimes even back-to-back. On Thursday he won Best Actor at the Baeksang Awards for his work in The Moon that Embraces the Sun (which also won Best Drama), which is similar to winning Homecoming King: the popular kids get it while no one else has a chance.

Even so, Soo-Hyun is adorable, and I have some shots from one of his many recent photoshoots. More

The Moon That Embraces the Sun Series Finale

OMG, there is so much I can say about the ending of The Moon That Embraces the Sun. I was on an emotional roller-coaster, going from sadness to WTF to everything in between, all within 60 minutes.

The end of episode 19 had my heart pulling in all directions! With the two brothers standing back-to-back as the rebels ran in broke my heart! It's just how they should be; standing together, watching each other's back, as Hwon adores his hyungnim and Yang-Myung always looks out for him. But back to reality, there's that whole high-treason thing that makes it so sad. I just keep hoping that Yang will be like, "just kidding!!!" and everything will be okay.
